I don't know why, but recently I have fallen in love with the parisian style. When I was in the quest of finding a good pair of ballet flats, I never consider to purchase this shoes as it does not look that parisian in my opinion. I was looking for a ballet flats that have bows on it, something that looks like the Repetto flats.
However, one day, when I was strolling around David Jones, I saw this flats and I decided to try them on. Boy, I have never try any shoes that are more comfortable than this Lanvin up to this date. Since then, I can't keep them out of my mind.

I tried to look for other alternatives that are cheaper and just as comfortable as this shoes, but I can't seem to find any. I tried Repetto flats, but they are too thin and might not last as long as I would expect them too given the high price tag. Even though Lanvin flats are more expensive, but their soles are thicker than the Repetto's. The leather is just so soft, even the cobbler where I get the shoes topied said so.
They have padded insoles, which make them more comfortable to walk in. However, I do get blisters when I wore them on the first day. Hopefully they will be more comfortable once I break them in. Oh I do topy the soles first before I started wearing them. I just want to make sure they last as long as they can.
Me donning the shoes for the first time.
If you are looking for a good pair of ballet flats, I definitely recommend this one. I bought them
here in case you are wondering. I got them at a half price cheaper than the price retails (there was a free shipping promo at the time I bought them) at David Jones which is AUD 650. I do reckon you go up one size since I find them a bit small than my regular shoes. Since I usually wear EU39, I chose EU40 when I bought them; and they fit perfectly!
